Pindam Certified As A, Specially Not for Pregnant Women

Pindam Gets A Certificate: The horror drama, ‘Pindam,’ featuring Sriram and Kushee Ravi in key roles, is set for a grand release on December 15. The film marking the Directeorial Debut of Saikiran Daida produced by Yeshwanth Daggumati under Kalaahi Media, the film has generated significant buzz through its trailer, teaser, songs, and other promotional materials. Recently completing its censor formalities, the film has been awarded an A (adults only) certificate by the CBFC.

Interestingly, despite receiving an A certification, the filmmakers were requested to make several cuts which generally isn’t the norm. In response to the bizarre nature of the certification, the team has issued a strict disclaimer advising against the viewing of ‘Pindam’ for pregnant women. This revelation has added to the intrigue surrounding the film, which is based on a true incident in Nalgonda and centers around a middle-class family trapped in a haunted house.

Srinivas Avasarala and Eswari Rao play crucial roles in ‘Pindam,’ and the film’s aggressive promotional strategy has kept it in the spotlight in recent days. Despite facing supernatural occurrences and practical challenges during the shoot, the team managed to complete filming ahead of schedule.

Director Saikiran Daida emphasizes that ‘Pindam’ is a straightforward horror drama without resorting to forced cinematic liberties. The narrative unfolds across multiple timelines, spanning the 1930s, 1990s, and the present day. Krishna Saurabh handles the music composition, while Sathish Manoharan serves as the cinematographer.
