Young and promising actor Kiran Abbavaram is the self-made actor in the Tollywood. The talented hero’s highly awaited film Meter, which was helmed by debutant Ramesh Kaduri, has released in theatres today. Here is the genuine review and Rating of the film.

Plot: Arjun Kalyan (Kiran Abbavaram) is a reckless youngster who doesn’t have any responsibility, his father serves as a sincere police constable. He wants his son Arjun to become a police officer, but Arjun has no interest to become the Police. But he ends up becoming a police officer and starts serving as Sub Inspector. Arjun tried his level best to get suspended but ends up getting a good reputation. Finally, Arjun gets losses his job by taking Home Minister Baireddt’s help. Arjun’s father comes to know about suspension and goes into coma, what happens next, will his father comes out of it, what Arjun is going to do next? To know this one has to watch the film.

Performance: Kiran Abbavaram has once again won hearts with his Steller performance, though it is dance, comedy, or action he has given his best for is role. We have also seen him doing romance in this flick, usually, Kiran stays away from romantic scenes. Actress Athulyaa Ravi’s role is much more significant in the film, though she shines in the first half, the actress went unseen in the second half. Director failed to use her efficiently in the film. The rest of the cast has done justice to their roles.

Technical Aspect: Debut director Ramesh Kaduir has come up with a regular storyline, all the elements that Meter has, which was seen by the audience long ago. Director failed to thrill the viewers in theatres. The first half was quite boring with routine love and family drama, but the director managed to bring back the momentum in the second half. except for a few shots, Ramesh dint made anything new in the film. Music composer Sai Kartheek depressed fans with his songs and bgm in the film, there was no soul in his music in the film. Venkat C Dilip’s cinematography is not up to the mark.

Positives

Kiran Abbavarm Performance Comedy Emotion

Negatives

Direction Screenplay Predictable Story Music Huge Lag First half

Verdict: Meter is a routine action drama that has no new elements in the film, it’s better to avoid the film in theatres. You can watch it on OTT
