Lust Stories Season 2 is currently available for streaming on Netflix. The series has been trending on social media for a long time now. Lust Stories season 1 was released in 2018. after five years, the makers returned with season 2. Lust Stories season 2 consists of four short films by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sensharma, R. Balki and Sujoy Ghosh. The teaser of Lust Stories season 2 generated positive buzz among the audience but is it worth watching or not. Let’s find out with our review:
Dadi: Mrunal Thakur will have a marriage proposal with Angad Bedi’s family. Murnal Thakur’s Dadi is an energetic and desi grandmother who suggests Mrunal to have compatibility in sex before her to be husband. Mrunal’s grandmother’s intentions make their family member ashamed but she talks about the long-term relationship. Will Mrunal Thakur be satisfied with their relationship, will they get married or not is the first story. Dadi is directed by R Balki and stars Neena Gupta, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi
Shome (Isheeta) is an IT professional, who stays alone in Mumbai. The second segment is about the owner(Shome) and maid(Seema). One day, when Shome gets home early, she accidentally happens to see her maid having sex with her husband. Every day the owner Shome sneaks into the house, to see her maid having passionate sex with her husband. After a few days, Shome and Seema get in a rift accident and talk about their ugly truth and they both have a big clash, the provoking between maid and servant is well made. The residents of Shome will spread the word that she enjoys watching other people sex. Seema couldn’t be able to meet her monthly pills as she lost her job. Will Seema and Shome cross paths again? Will they forgive each other is the story of the second part.
Vijay’s car breaks down in the middle of the drive. Vijay happens to meet his estranged wife (Tamannah) wife Shanti. Vijay and Shanti get married, when the former learns about Shanti’s pregnancy, he plans to kill her with a group of people. She will be able to survive, when they meet accidentally, Vijay tells about his marriage with their best friend And. Shanti doubts that it is because of Anu, she got separated from Vijay. But, that’s not the truth, what happened to Shanti? Why did she get separated from Vijay? Who is behind all this is the third part.
Devyani (Kajol) is a prostitute who gets married to influential Mehersa (Kumud Misha), who takes advantage of their servants at his mansion. The story begins on a steady note but the climax of the segment is mind-blowing. Kajol talks about the film through her eyes and body language. The segment is well-written and well-acted by the cast
Performances: Mrunal Thakur looks fat on the screen. There were forced scenes by her in the story. After watching Lust Stories, you would feel why everyone calls her Kajol evergreen star. Kajol is mesmerised with her eyes, she is a show-stopper. Tamannaah Bhatia as usual nails it, the scene between her and Vijay Varma came out well, the duo look perfect on the screens. Every cast in Lust Stories 2 deserves special applause for their neat performance.
Verdict: Lust Stories season 2 is nothing short of new nor is it good. It is pretty boring, it is better to watch the first season.
