Kareena Kapoor As Female Lead In Yash’s Toxic

Recent Reports indicate that Kareena Kapoor is poised to make her potential debut in Kannada cinema by starring alongside Yash in his upcoming film ‘Toxic’. Yash announced the project last year and unveiled the title in December. While specific details about the movie are still shrouded in mystery, recent rumors suggest that Kareena will take on the lead role.

‘Toxic’ marks Yash’s 19th film. Alongside revealing the title, Yash also released a teaser featuring his character. The teaser showcases various anto-heroic figures, including DC Comics iconic villain Joker, engulfed in flames. Eventually, Yash’s character is unveiled, depicted with distinct attributes like a pot-belly, retro hat, and machine gun, while holding a cigar and resting the gun on his shoulder. The title “Toxic” is then displayed, accompanied by the tagline “A fairytale for grown-ups.”

During a fan interaction, Kareena hinted at her involvement in a significant South Indian film, which has now evolved into a pan-India venture. She expressed her enthusiasm for this new opportunity, noting it as her inaugural venture into such a project.

Produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, the film initially sparked speculation with Sai Pallavi and Raashii Khanna being considered as potential leading ladies before Kareena’s association with the project emerged. Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan is gearing up for the release of ‘Crew,’ co-starring Tabu and Kriti Sanon. She is also currently filming for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’.
