Jr Ntr And Hrithik Roshan’s War 2: War, directed by Siddharth Anand, was one of the year’s biggest hits, bringing together Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff for their best action performance. The movie’s intense fight scene was well received by the audience. Following the film’s enormous success, Yash Raj Films decided to make a sequel. Director Siddharth Anand had previously announced the film’s sequel. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the highly anticipated film War 2.
The announcement of South Indian actor Jr. NTR joining War 2 has also left fans thrilled. Following the success of War with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, expectations for War 2 were already high, but the excitement soared with the addition of NTR to the cast.
Contrary to expectations, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra fame Ayan Mukerji will helm this action thriller, not Siddharth Anand. Yash Raj Films, the producer of War 2, has revealed the much-anticipated release date—14th August 2025—for this star-studded spectacle.
This marks the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, following Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. NTR and Hrithik Roshan are set to commence work on this project soon. A glimpse of War 2 was teased at the end of Tiger 3, adding to the audience’s anticipation. With the powerful combination of Bollywood and Tollywood forces, War 2 is anticipated to break existing box office records.
