Superstar Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli are all set to collaborate soon for a movie. They have made an official announcement about their collaboration a while ago. The film is expected to go on floors sometime in 2024. Currently, the film is in the pre-production stage, as per the reports.
The working title of the film is #SSMB29. The story is said to be inspired from the Hollywood film ‘Blood Diamond’ which was released in 2006. Leonardo Di Caprio played lead role in the film. A fisherman, a smuggler, and a syndicate of businessmen match wits over the possession of a priceless diamond.
In the meantime, Mahesh Babu has been shooting for Guntur Kaaram, The regular shooting of the film is taking place in Hyderabad at Annapurna Studios. The film is directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela are the female leads in the film. Guntur Kaaram will be released in theatres during Sankranthi of 2024. After the completion of Guntur Karam, Mahesh Babu will be moving to Rajamouli’s film because it would take a long time for the actor to wrap up Rajamouli’s film as the director takes a lot of time in making the films.
