King Khan Shah Rukh Khan‘s much-anticipated Bollywood film ‘Dunki’ directed by Rajkumar Hirani, has a massive following among audiences. The comedy-drama deals with illegal immigration using the Donkey flight method. Since Punjabis pronounce Donkey as Dunki, the film has been named Dunki. Taapsee Pannu will play the female lead role in the movie. The release date is set for December 21, 2023, and it will hit screens worldwide.
Shah Rukh Khan, also known as SRK, recently conducted an interactive session with his fans on Twitter. During the session, one of his admirers asked him if his upcoming film “Dunki” would be liked by their parents. SRK replied, “They will love it immensely. Hopefully, more films like this will be made in the future.”
The lead actor appears to be very confident about the upcoming film, which is evident in his responses. The Bollywood superstar also mentioned that Dunki will have a good balance of humor and emotions. He further added that the film will follow the typical style of Rajkumar Hirani. Can we expect another masterpiece from SRK? Only time will tell.
The film features an impressive cast, including Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, and Boman Irani in significant roles. It is being produced by Gauri Khan and Rajkumar Hirani under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, Rajkumar Hirani Films, and Jio Studios. Pritam is composing the musical score for the film.
