Power Star Pawan Kalyan has worked with his nephew Sai Dharam Tej in BRO. The film was released in theatres this Friday. BRO is all yours now. In case you are a fan of Pawan Kalyan or are planning to watch the film with your family members this weekend, check out our review before booking your tickets.

Plot: Mark aka Markandaya (Sai Dharam Tej) is the busiest person out there. He always wants to meet deadlines and doesn’t want to waste even a minute. Mark is a typical person who gives preference to ‘time’. He is least bothered about family emotions and concerns. Mark meets with a car accident after which he has a tryst with Time/God (Pawan Kalyan). Mark gets a second chance to change the course of his destiny in 90 days. Can he?

Performances: Pawan Kalyan is the show-stopper we all love to watch on the big screen. It is a treat for his fans to see him in vintage looks. He carried the swag and style from beginning to end.

BRO is between two main leads. Sai Dharam Tej got a meatier role, most of the film runs on him. His acting was mediocre compared to his previous movies. Ketika Sharma, Priya Varrier, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Tanikella Bharani and others did their part in the film. There is no awesome performance by anyone except Pawan Kalyan.

Thumbs Up

  • Pawan Kalyan’s stylish performance
  • BGM by SS Thaman
  • Storyline
  • The climax

Negatives:

  • Elaborate scenes
  • Lack of Emotional Connect
  • VFX
  • Screenplay

Analysis: The concept of BRO is a fresh but familiar affair. Director Samuthirakani understood the pulse of Pawan’s fans and made a mashup of his songs from his previous blockbuster hits.

The first half of BRO is entertaining and appealing to the audience. We look forward to the second half. Trivikram’s writing didn’t help much. The VFX of BRO is very pathetic. The second half is predictable in most cases.

The pre-climax song and climax of the film deliver a strong message to youngsters. Sai Dharam Tej failed to perform well in emotional scenes. The songs and production values are just okay or adequate.

Verdict: Good BRO

Chireaseema Rating: 2.5/5
