Animal Box Office Collection: Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, entered the ₹600 crore gross club in eight days and reached the ₹700 crore worldwide gross milestone within 10 days of its release on December 1. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and Shakti Kapoor in prominent roles.
Now the film has marked a another significant achievement by surpassing the ₹797.6 crore gross worldwide mark in just 15 days as reported on Saturday. Despite facing criticism for its portrayal of toxic characters and controversial scenes, the film has become one of the top three highest-grossing movies of 2023 joining the ranks of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan.
With the current pace, Animal is on the verge of crossing the ₹800 crore gross mark, further solidifying its position as a box office powerhouse. The revenge drama revolves around the toxic relationship between a father and son with Anil Kapoor portraying the emotionally distant father Balbir Singh and Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of the traumatized and angry son, Ranvijay Singh aka Vijay.
Bobby Deol takes on the role of the menacing antagonist ‘Abrar Haque’ who is thrice-married. Rashmika Mandanna plays the role as Geetanjali Iyengar, Vijay’s wife while other notable actors like Triptii Dimri, Charu Shankar, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Shakti Kapoor, Madhu Raja, Suresh Oberoi, and Siddhant Karnick contribute to the film’s ensemble cast.
