Actor Vishal On Starting His Own Political Party

Tamil actor Vishal has put an end to speculations surrounding his entry into politics, emphasizing that he is not venturing into the political arena at present. His statement follows widespread rumors on social media about his intention to launch a political party. Vishal emphasized his continued dedication to serving the community, primarily through his fan club, hinting at the possibility of future political involvement.

Expressing gratitude to the people of Tamil Nadu for acknowledging him as both an actor and a social worker, Vishal highlighted his longstanding commitment to utilizing his fan club for the welfare of society. He stressed a comprehensive approach to community development, aiming to address the needs of every district, constituency, and social segment. Through initiatives like the ‘Devi Foundation,’ established in memory of his late mother, Vishal has consistently supported underprivileged students and distressed farmers.

Vishal further detailed his grassroots engagement, noting that interactions with citizens during his filming endeavors have shaped his advocacy efforts, devoid of any immediate political aspirations. He affirmed his willingness to champion the causes of the people if circumstances demand it, without seeking personal political gain.

Reflecting on his past electoral experience, where his nomination for RK Nagar by-poll was rejected due to insufficient valid proposers, Vishal acknowledged this setback as his initial foray into politics, although brief. Despite his current commitments, including filming for his upcoming project ‘Rathnam‘ which is Directed by Hari remains resolute in his commitment to public service, leaving the door open for potential political engagement in the future.
