Aadikeshava Movie Review: Vaisshnav Tej’s latest movie, Aadikeshava, hit theaters on November 24, 2023, with Sree Leela as the female lead. Produced by Nag Vamsi, the film is directed by Srikanth N. Reddy. Here’s the Movie Review.

Plot: Balu (Panja Vaisshnav Tej) works in a cosmetic company owned by Chitra (Sree Leela). A twist arrives when it is revealed that Chenga Reddy (Joju George), a factionist in a Seema village named Brahama Samudram, wants his father dead. Balu’s identity and his past are revealed in quick succession. Will he be able to save himself and his family members from the cruel villain? (Aadikeshava Movie Review).

Performances:

Right from Uppena, Vaisshnav Tej has worked extremely hard on every single film. He adapts well to any genre and shows his fighting skills with confidence. The young hero has improved a lot compared to his previous movies like Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga. Sree Leela’s presence adds glamour to the film. She looks beautiful in the songs. He steals a march over the hero with her excellent dancing skills. The rest of the cast are good. Raadhika Sarathkumar, Jayaprakash and Nellore Sudarshan are nice. Joju George as the main villain is effective.

Plus Points:

  • The lead performances.
  • Comedy scenes between the hero and his sidekick.
  • The mining and temple backdrop.

Minus Points:

  • Outdated story.
  • Boring screenplay.
  • Silly climax.

Analysis:

The story of Aadikeshava is routine and predictable. The first half of the film is watchable due to the rom-com genre. Debutant director Srikanth N Reddy excels in entertaining the audience with comedy but fails to tell the actual point of the story effectively. The music is just okay. Composed by GV Prakash Kumar, it works as far as the BGM is concerned. Production values by Sithara Entertainers are very poor. It was a surprise to see the quality of the film, especially considering that S Naga Vamsi of Bheemla Nayak fame is the producer. All in all, the film fails to live up to the audience’s expectations.

Verdict: Aadikeshava comes with an outdated story and asinine drama. Watch it at your own risk. Vaisshnav Tej delivers a disaster.
