After the benchmark film Bahubali, the entire nation’s eyebrows were turned towards the Telugu film industry, now stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh are showing interest to work with Telugu actors and directors. After getting global stardom, now Bollywood star’s focus has shifted to Telugu cinemas.
In the mean time, Telugu filmmakers are casting Bollywood stars in their cinemas, for the sake of releasing their films at the Pan-Indian level. Post Bahubali Shraddha Kapoor, Ananya made their Telugu debut with Sahoo and Liger, and now Bollywood hot siren Janhvi is all set to shake leg with Tarak in NTR30. This is now going well with a section of the audience.
A section of the audience slams that it took years of time to for Telugu cinemas earn global stardom, and why they are unnecessarily encouraging outsiders when we have native actresses like Samantha, Nayanthara, and others.
If one has observed the Telugu filmmakers are casting Hindi stars for negative roles, Saif Ali Khan for NTR30 and Bobby Deol for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, netizens pleasing Telugu directors to native actor in their films when the entire country is ready t watch our films. They even request makers not to cast Bollywood stars in the Telugu film when we have gems like Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and others.
