The Siddharth Movie That ‘Missed’ the Mark in Theaters

Right now, the situation for small films and independent producers is quite dire. Major films and big production houses are spending lavishly on promotions, making it tough for smaller films to keep up. Adding to their woes, distribution issues plague these films as well. While there’s no shortage of distributors, many of them only release films in a handful of theaters, providing little benefit to the producers. Without proper promotion and strategic release dates, these films come and go without much notice. Even OTT platforms are showing limited interest in picking them up.

Recently, a movie starring Siddharth hit the theaters. Surprisingly, many were unaware of its release. Here’s why:

  1. Diminishing Interest: Audiences’ interest in Siddharth’s films has waned.
  2. Allu Arjun’s Arrest: The public was completely engrossed in the news about Allu Arjun’s arrest.

Moreover, Siddharth’s own remarks have added fuel to the fire. He famously said that even if houses are being demolished with JCBs, crowds gather. Similarly, people come to political meetings for beer and biryani, so there’s no need to make a big deal about people showing up for the Pushpa-2 event in Patna. Although Siddharth later clarified his controversial comments, Bunny’s fans didn’t take kindly to them. This backlash had a significant impact on Siddharth’s film.

Due to these reasons, the movie “Miss You,” starring Siddharth, unfortunately ended up as a box office disaster.
