South star Suriya is set to reunite with actress Trisha Krishnan in his next film, as announced by the makers. Directed by RJ Balaji, this movie marks their on-screen reunion after nearly two decades.
Trisha and Suriya last worked together in the 2005 film Aaru. The exciting news was shared by the film’s production banner, Dream Warrior Pictures, on Instagram on December 14, 2024 (Friday).
The duo also collaborated on the 2002 film Mounam Pesiyadhe and were part of the ensemble cast in Mani Ratnam’s 2004 film Aayutha Ezhuthu.
This new film will feature music by Sai Abhyankkar and cinematography by G K Vishnu. Suriya’s most recent film was Kanguva, a period fantasy adventure directed by Siva. He is also eagerly awaiting the release of Karthik Subbaraj’s latest directorial venture.
Trisha recently made a cameo in Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time. Her upcoming projects include Identity with Tovino Thomas, Vidaamuyarchi with Ajith, and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life headlined by Kamal Haasan.
