Gorgeous actress Samantha’s Mythological film Shaakuntalm was released in theatres a week ago, the Pan-Indian film has failed miserably at the box office. Despite doing wide promoting due to poor content and narration the film headed toward disaster.
Not only was Samantha who got affected by the film, but its producer Dil Raju is also suffering heavy losses by producing this film. Though Shaakuntalm was jointly produced by Neelima Guna Shekar and Dil Raju, it was Raju who played a major role in the distribution and promotional works, according to the latest reports Shaakuntalam producer has literally lost 20crs on this film.
Shaakuntalam is one of the most disastrous film releases in recent times. The film is being washed out from theatres due to lack of bookings.
The film is helmed by ace director Guna Shekar, his daughter Neelima Guna and Dil Raju jointly produced the film. Mani Sharma has composed music for this mythological drama.
