Pushpa 2 has become a box office monster, breaking records left and right. After historic numbers in the first three days, the film went into overdrive on day 4, defying the usual Sunday slump.
The unprecedented hype surrounding the Pushpa sequel ensured an epic Sunday, but the film exceeded all expectations. Both Hindi and Telugu versions saw over 50% occupancy in morning shows, with Hindi peaking at over 60%. As the day progressed, it became clear that another historic day was on the cards, with Pushpa 2 dominating in big cities, tier 2 and tier 3 centers, and even interior regions.
Capacity issues arose, and late-night shows were added to meet demand. Maharashtra led the business, followed by Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and surprisingly, Gujarat, showcasing the film’s widespread craze.
With extraordinary trends, Pushpa 2 is set to collect 141-144 crores (all languages) at the Indian box office on day 4. This marks a significant jump from yesterday’s 120 crores. Including estimates, the film has entered the 500 crore club with a four-day total of 537.25-540.25 crore net (all languages) at the Indian box office. Allu Arjun has scored his first-ever 500 crore grosser in India in an unbelievable fashion.
