Young actor Nikhil has earned national stardom with his magnum opus Karthikeya 2, the self-made actor is once again aiming to score a massive hit with his upcoming film Spy. The high-action drama is being helmed by Goodachari fame Garry BH. Aishwarya Menon is the female lead in the film.
Nikhil is planning to release the film at the Pan-Indian level, as it is being made with a lavish budget. Nikhil will be seen in a completely different avatar in this film.
The glimpse has created tremendous buzz among the audience, Nikhil is working round the clock to wrap up the shoot.
The non-theatrical rights of the film are fetched for a fancy price, the digital rights are acquired by Amazon Prime for ₹25crs and television rights are bagged by star group for ₹15crs. According to reports the film has done 40crs non-theatrical rights business. Which is a good sign for the makers.
Though the makers haven’t announced the exact release date of the film, Spy will land in theatres in May as a summer bonanza.
The film is being produced by K. Rajashekar and Charantej Uppalapati is producing the film under ED Entertainments banners.
