It’s the second film of Nani’s Tuck Jagadish opted for digital release owing to the pandemic. Nani is a big theatre fan, though he wants for the film to hit the big screen. But, It’s not the perfect time for any film to have a theatrical release owing to the current situation. Nani has treated the audience on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi with his new releases ‘Tuck Jagadish’.
Plot: Tuck Jagadish is the rivalry between two brothers and two villages. Nani (Tuck Jagadish), Boss( Jagapathi Babu) are half brothers in the film. Adikesava Naidu(Nassar) played Nani’s father character in the film. Tuck Jagadish is set in small-town ‘Bhoodevipuram’. Aadisesh Naidu only mission or dream to provide water for the two villages. But, the opposite village leader(Veerendra) is not happy with Nassar’s decision, he don’t like Nassar giving back all the lands for the farmer. On a fine day, Nassar dies with a heart attack, before he dying he asks Jagapathi Babu to take care of his family and give everyone an equal share in the properties. Jagapathi Babu doesn’t like the idea of giving away the properties to sisters or brothers. Jagapathi Babu joins hands with Veerandra to get back all the lands that his father Nassar has given to the farmers. Jagapathi Babu real character will be revealed after his father dies. When Nani learnt the truth about Jagapathi Babu. What are the sacrifice Nani does for his family forms the crux of the story.
Performance: Nani steals the show with his performance. Nani and Jagapathi Babu looks so terrific in the film. Ritu Varma got a limited screen space, Aishwarya Rajesh was in space for lesser time but she made everyone to sit up and take notice of her work. Rao Ramesh, Nassar, Naresh and others justified with their roles.
Analysis: After watching Shiva Nirvana two movies like Ninnu Kori and Majili. People had expected a lot in Tuck Jagadish. But, it is not up to the mark. There are no interesting songs at all. Shiva Nirvana fully focused on highlighting family relationships but he forgot to give the audience a dosage of entertainment. Yes, comedy is missing in the film. It’s a big minus point for the film. Background music, fights, and interval bang are major highlights of the film.
Verdict: Tuck Jagadish is a family entertainer filled with lot of emotions. It’s much watch a film for this weekend.
