The regular shooting of the film is going at rapid pace. Shruti Haasan has been roped to play the female lead in the film. The latest news we hear is Malayam actor Prithvi Raj is likely to play a villain role in the film. However, an official confirmation regarding the news is awaited.
The Prashanth Neel directorial will reportedly complete its shooting by the end of this year. Meanwhile, with KGF: Chapter 2 pushed to summer 2022, ‘Saalar’ will reportedly release in late 2022. In addition, both films are being funded by Hombale Films.
