After a long wait, Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story has finally hit the screens. It is the first big ticket film to open in theatres after second wave of Covid. The film is directed by Sekhar and co produced by Narayan Das K Narang and P Ram Mohan Rao. If you are curios to read the review, here we go

Plot: Revanth(Naga Chaitanya), Mounika hails from the village of Armoor (Nizamabad). They move to Hyderabad to fulfill their dreams. They too want to lead a happy life by getting place in any software company. Sadly, they couldn’t any better jobs. Revanth and Mounika decide to take another job, Revanth starts his own Zumba dance academy where Sai Pallavi comes as a dance trainer in Revanth’s academy. They both face lot of hurdles because of their different castes. Will they be able to convince their parents? Will they be able to get married? What are the odd they face forms the story of ‘Love Story’.

Performance: Naga Chaitanya and Sail Pallavi did brilliant acting in the Film. Naga Chaitanya has been trying to reinvent himself since ‘Majili’, in which too he sported a beard. In ‘Love Story’, he not only looks younger but also shows never-seen-before ease. his dancing skills was fantastic. Sai Pallavi is beautiful, charming, headstrong. She looks cute in the dance, which is pleasing to watch on the silver screen. While Naga Chaitanya is the heart and soul of this movie, Sai Pallavi is the muscle that supports it all. Sekhar Kammula has done something unexpected, yet again. Rajeev Kanakala, Uttej, Gangavva and other supports did justice to their characters.

Technical Aspects: Director Shekhar Kammula already said that this movie will not be like his regular romantic comedies. It deals with caste and class issues that our society is facing even now. Though this is not the first film to deal with those issues, Shekhar’s mark makes it a unique experience. Pawan Ch’s music is a major advantage of the film. Already, the songs have become chartbusters and now, he scored brownie points with the background score. Vijay C Kumar’s cinematography is beautiful. He captured rural Telangana and Hyderabad very well. The production values are great. The editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is decent.

Plus Points:

Sai Pallavi dance, Naga Chaitanya performance
Songs
Dailogues

Minus Point:

Slow narration

Verdict: the film will showcase the inter caste marriage. It’s clean film and going to be big Paisa vasool of this month.
