Kannada film Industry is being unstoppable by scoring back-to-back Pan-Indian hits, after KGF franchise and Kantara, Sandalwood has come up with another Pan-Indian film Kabzaa, which features Real star Upendar and Kiccha Sudeep in lead roles. The film has released in theatres today, lets check whether the managed to win hearts of audience.
Plot: The film revolves around one person Arkeshwara (Upendra) is a teenager who lives with his mother and brother in rural village, due to some circumstances, Arkeshwara shifts to a city called Amarpur along with his brother and mother. As days passes away Arkeshwara struggles and late he manages to get placed in air force as Pilot Officers. Though he had intension of serving nation this fate took him somewhere else where he had to get into under world mafia and became gangster in no time, what happened since then, what are the hurdles he faced as gangster, what is Kiccha Sudeep’s role in the film, what is the interconnection between them. To know this one has watch the film.
Performance: It’s delight to watch Upendra and Kiccha Sudeep on single screen, though Upendra has kept his blood and soul for his role in the film, Not to mention fans had huge expectation on Sudeep but he dint get much scree presence in the film. Though his appearance in the film is less Sudeep made everyone to stand on their feet in theatres rocked his role as he always does. Shreya Saran looks gorgeous in the film, the entire cast have done justice to their roles. Shiva Rajkumar was seen in last 5 mins, his entry will give goosebump to audience in theatres.
Technical Aspects: Director R Chandru tried something out of the box, but failed to execute it, the film is quiet predictable and similar to Yash’s KGF. Starting from BGM to editing most of them will give you KGF vibes, the weak story narration and vintage shade and poor VFX are the major drawbacks for the film. The dialogues are not up to expectations, most of the audience felt that the item song was not really needed. The production values of the film are impressive.

Verdict: Kabzaa is the high action drama which is inspired by Yash‘s KGF film, Every scene in the film will give you KGF vibes. One can watch the film only for Upendar and Kiccha Sudeep.
