Is Kotabommali PS Going To Be A Political Satire ?

Directed by Teja Marni, the much-anticipated film ‘Kotabommali PS’ is gearing up for a grand release on November 24, courtesy of GA 2 Pictures. The title track unveiled on November 12, has already created a buzz with its potent political satire. Beginning with a tribute to Grama Devata, the song takes a bold stance offering a unapologetic commentary on the current state of affairs in the so-called ‘free and fair’ democratic elections.

During a recent event related to ‘Kotabommali PS,’ producer Bunny Vasu emphasized the film’s awareness of the fact that we are in a new democratic landscape. He shared insights into the film stating, ‘Some dialogues in our film are hard-hitting. Those lines are a general commentary on politics that is stacked against the system. According to Vasu, the system is grappling with the repercussions of the way politics has been conducted.

A couple of dialogues in the film’s title song suggest that the political survival thriller is not going to shy away from taking on the established political system. The question is Will the film be seen as politically biased or neutral?

‘Jawan’ has recently been released. A segment of the crowd believed that SRK’s film was critical of the Modi government at the Centre. Another segment stated that the film is against all political parties in general. What will the tone of ‘Kota Bommali PS’ be? We must wait and watch.

Srikanth Meka and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar portray police officers in the film, entrusted with capturing a mysterious figure before the upcoming elections.

Notable performers like as Rahul Vijay, Murali Sharma, Shivani Rajasekhar, Vishnu Oi, and others had important parts in this film. Bunny Vas and Vidya Koppineedi of GA2 Pictures bankrolled this movie, featuring music by Ranjin Raj and Midhun Mukundan. Keep an eye on this page for more exciting developments.
