Samantha Ruth Prabhu, recognized for her breakout role in Raj and DK’s ‘Family Man 2,’ is set to headline the upcoming web series ‘Citadel’ directed by the same dynamic duo. Scheduled for a summer 2024 release on Amazon Prime Video. This series will co-star Varun Dhawan. Notably, ‘Citadel’ is an expansive multi-series project spanning locations in India, Italy and Mexico.
The show features Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra with the backing of the renowned Russo Brothers. Designed to have spin-off series in specific languages and locations such as Mexico, India, Spain, and the Italian Alps. Samantha, who has completed her part in ‘Citadel,’ is now gearing up for the series promotional activities. She recently joined Varun Dhawan, Raj, and DK at the global premiere in London.
While details about the Indian iteration of ‘Citadel’ remain under wraps Priyanka Chopra has hinted at interconnected storylines across the various versions. As production progresses fans eagerly await further updates on this thrilling collaboration between Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan.
