Director Venkatesh Maha Deactivates His X Account After Facing Fans Wrath

Venkatesh Maha: This winter, Tollywood celebrities are facing the heat of social media. After Ramajogayya Sastry who deactivated his X(formerly known as Twitter) account due to severe trolling for his latest song in Guntur Kaaram, producer Naga Vamsi faced harsh comments over the same song, Responded candidly by posting a clip from Animal as his response to trolling. However later deleted it after facing criticism.

Now, another director came under the scanner. It is director Venkatesh Maha who shot to fame with his impeccable work for ‘Care Of Kancharapalem’ film. He won numerous accolades for his first film and is considered as one of the promising young directors. He then directed SatyaDev starrer ‘Umamaheswaraya Ugra Roopasya’ which is a remake of a Malayalam film, ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’ headline by Fahadh Faasil. His second film which is a direct to OTT release too fetched good reviews.

The latest director under the scanner is Venkatesh Maha, renowned for his work in ‘Care Of Kancharapalem.’ However, a round table interview for a YouTube channel stirred controversy when Venkatesh Maha made some comments about KGF in a derogoratory tone, sparking backlash on social media. While he later issued an apology, he stood by his comments and warned against crossing the line in trolling, even threatening legal action agains’t them.

Recently, after the release of the Salaar Ceasefire trailer, Venkatesh Maha posted a screenshot of his ticket for Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki, expressing eagerness to watch his favorite star’s film on its first day. Given the ongoing fan war between Salaar and Dunki supporters Venkatesh Maha’s tweet was perceived by some as indirectly favoring Dunki over Salaar. This led to numerous reports against his account. Regardless of the motivations, he has deactivated his X account in response to the escalating situation.
