  Young actor Zaid Khan hails from Karnataka from a well-reputed politician family. Zaid Khan is the son of B. Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan is an Indian politician. He was born in a political family but he has chosen a different path to purse his career in acting. Zaid Khan’s much-awaited film Banaras has released in theatres. Check our review whether the film lived uptown audience expectations or not. Plot: Sidharth Simha (Zaid Khan) hails from a rich family, he lost his mother during his childhood, and his father raises by pampering a lot. Sidharth Simha enjoys his life by partying and traveling to different places. Sidharth bets with his friends that he will impress Dhani (Sonal Monteiro). Sidharth to become close to Dhani, he narrated the story that he came to meet her from a future time machine to the present, Dhani impress to his words, she will take him to his room. After Dhani falls asleep, Sidharth took a picture with her. Sidharth will show the picture to their friends, the picture went viral on social media. Dhani who hurts looking at her picture leaves the city and will go to Banaras. Sidharth who realizes his own mistake, went to Banaras to apology Dhani. Will Dhani forgives him or not is the gist of the story. Performances: Zaid Khan does a commendable job, although it was a debut film. Zaid Khan pulled it off effortlessly. Sonal Monteiro made everyone to sit up and take a notice of her. Sonal and Zaid Khan look so promising cast in Banaras. The rest of the cast also does fine in their roles. What’s hot: The travel time concept with twists and turns in Banaras are worth watching. It is first attempt of Zaid Khan, his selection of the story is pretty right. The picturization and songs of the film are also the backbone to the film. What’s not: Somewhat, the narration went in slow pace. Verdict: Banaras is a good entertainer. Chitraseema Rating: 2.25
