A lot was going on in the camp of Pushpa 2. Before, there were rumours of postponement about the film but the film makers denied them by saying that they will be coming on Independence Day. It has been officially revealed recently that it would arrive in December with Allu Arjun playing a lead role. As it is a normal day rather than being festive season, there are concerns over how well it will collect initially. Nonetheless, this seems to be a prudent move considering the box office collection abroad.
The movie directed by Sukumar is the second part of Pushpa which was released in 2021.The first instalment was praised for its performances especially when all theaters were closed during COVID times.Following this success even after ending its theatrical run, there are high hopes for the upcoming sequel. In India and abroad many records are expected to broken.
In total, the first one had an overseas outcome of 37 crores gross. Now that people have warmed up to Allu Arjun’s character quite a bit, some great business can be expected from international markets as well. And so far this appears to be a fitting answer since it is targeted at achieving these goals that the new release date has been announced as 6th December.
