‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ Shatters Advance Booking Records on Opening Day in India

Get ready to witness a box office storm! Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated film, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, has set the cash registers ringing even before its official release. With four days left until its grand debut on December 5, the film’s advance bookings have already soared past a staggering Rs 30.88 crore for the opening day in India, highlighting its unparalleled popularity.

According to sacnilk.com, the film’s Telugu version alone has garnered Rs 10.28 crore in advance bookings, while the Hindi version added Rs 7.45 crore and the Malayalam version contributed Rs 46.69 lakh for 2D screenings. The IMAX 2D and 3D formats are also seeing impressive numbers, further fueling the excitement.

Telangana leads the charge with ticket sales amounting to Rs 6.76 crore, which rises to Rs 9.38 crore when including blocked seats. So far, ‘Pushpa 2’ has sold an estimated 6.59 lakh tickets for 16,006 shows across India, amassing Rs 21.49 crore in ticket sales. With blocked seats, the total advance booking collections reach a jaw-dropping Rs 30.88 crore.

But the excitement isn’t confined to India alone. Globally, the film is creating ripples with advance bookings in the USA contributing to an estimated overseas collection of Rs 70 crore. Early projections are predicting a massive worldwide opening-day gross of Rs 303 crore, with Rs 233 crore expected from the domestic market alone.
