Allu Arjun Granted Interim Bail in Sandhya Theatre Stampede Case

Icon Star Allu Arjun has been granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court on Friday in connection with the stampede that occurred at the premiere of his blockbuster film, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule‘, in Hyderabad. The High Court emphasized that, despite being an actor, Arjun has the right to life and liberty as a citizen.

This verdict comes as a significant relief for the actor after he was previously sent to judicial custody for 14 days by a lower court. The stampede at the iconic Sandhya Theatre tragically resulted in the death of a 39-year-old woman and left her minor son seriously injured.
