Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Acharya is grabbing the headlines ever since it went on the floors. Finally, the film is all set to arrive in theatres this Friday. The film features Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
Yesterday, in a press conference when Chiranjeevi was asked is really hike in the ticket price is important for big star like Chiranjeevi. He stated that ” We are paying 40 percent of tax every year, due to Covid, we faced huge loss during the time of making the film. We haven’t even charged any fee for the film, asking the government to raise ticket price is a crime”.
Chiranjeevi openly stated that he and his son Charan did Acharya without taking any penny. The pre-release of Acharya is said to be Rs 120 cr plus. Will Chiranjeevi and Charan be able to get their share from the film. Chiranjeevi or Charan can only get their remuneration in Acharya only if the film strikes gold at the box office.
